A Test Engineer in our Commercial Vehicles and Aftermarket department has a key role in the regular testing of our embedded software projects. If you join us, you will witness and influence the step-by-step creation of commercial vehicles components (instrument clusters, tachographs, control systems) long before their launch on the market and you will be connected to the newest technology in this area.

As a system test engineer your responsibilities will be to:
- Develop test specifications for low to complex functionalities;
- Perform tests and prepare reports according with the defined test process;
- Collaborate with Project Test Manager, Project Manager and Quality Engineer in verifying the test results;
- Develop testing software applications, set up test environments;
- Help improving the test process.

A mentor will support you to take over your own responsibility after an initial training phase which will take you through our products, tools, processes and organization.

• University Degree in an Electrical Engineering field (Faculty of Automation and Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering – Mechatronics) or student in a final year;
• Basic usage of instrumentation for measurement and control (oscilloscopes, power supplies);
• Basic programming experience;
• Knowledge of electronics – general overview;
• It’s an advantage if you know: Labview, Matlab and if you have knowledge in basic automotive systems and embedded systems;
• (at least medium level)

• integrate and test the created code;
• cooperate with an international development team and customers.

A mentor will guide you to take over step by step your own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.

As an Embedded Software Development engineer your responsibilities you will be to:
- develop software in C based on given requirements and specification;
- integrate, emulate and test the created code;
- cooperate with an international development team and customers.

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.

You will have to:

• University degree – preferably Computer Science/Electronics/Telecommunications related degree;
• Experience in C/C++/Java programming language of at least 1 year;
• Solid understanding of OOP concepts (Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming);
• Good knowledge of microcontrollers and communication protocols
• Good English skills in writing, reading and speaking
• Experience with embedded systems and Linux will be a plus

The amount of electronics designed into the modern trucks has grown tremendously over the years; currently around 90% of innovation in new trucks is electronic based.

The control of driveline, engine, chassis, interior and exterior lights is the work line of Vehicle Control Units applications developed in CV&AM Timisoara.

The Software Configuration Engineer activity consists in:
- Define and setup of the folder structure of the project including the management of the access rights;
- Planning of project-specific baselines in coordination with the Project Manager;
- Defines the version labels for the software versions and monitors the correct labeling;
- Responsible for the data storage and archiving of project relevant data;
- Setup the Version Management and Change Management Tools and provides to all users access to them;
- Provide training and support (First level-support) to project team members in terms of Configuration Management specific tasks.
